Turn images into a proper PDF
Photos of documents, scanned receipts, phone snapshots of whiteboards — image files are awkward to share as a set and print unpredictably. When you convert jpg to pdf, each image becomes a page in a single, tidy document that's easy to email, archive, or print. GroPDF accepts both JPG and PNG, so whatever your camera or scanner produced will work.
How to convert JPG to PDF
- Add your images by dragging them in or clicking to browse. JPG and PNG both work.
- Arrange the order by dragging the file entries — the top image becomes page one.
- Convert and download your new PDF.
Tips for clean results
- Order before converting. Double-check the sequence — fixing page order afterward means re-doing the conversion or using Organize PDF.
- Scanning with your phone? Take photos straight-on in good light with a contrasting background; it makes a dramatic difference to readability.
- File too big to send? Run the result through Compress PDF to shrink it for email.
Limitations
This tool places images as-is — it doesn't perform OCR, so the text in your photos won't be selectable or searchable in the PDF. It also won't enhance blurry photos; garbage in, garbage out. Each image becomes exactly one page at its original size, so very tall screenshots become very tall pages.
Preparing your images
A little prep goes a long way. Rename files so alphabetical order matches your intended page order (01-cover.jpg, 02-intro.jpg…) before uploading — it's faster than dragging dozens of entries into place. If your images have wildly different dimensions, they'll keep their original sizes — each page matches its image exactly. And if some photos are sideways, rotate them in your phone's gallery first: this tool places images exactly as they are, with no built-in rotation.
Steps at a glance
- Upload one or more images in any common format (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP).
- Reorder the images if needed — each becomes one PDF page in that order.
- Click convert and download your PDF.
Why convert images to PDF with GroPDF?
Sharing a dozen separate photos is messy — recipients have to open each one, and the order gets lost. A single PDF keeps everything in sequence and opens everywhere. GroPDF keeps each page at the image's original dimensions (no forced paper size that shrinks or stretches your pictures), accepts virtually any image format, and never uploads your photos anywhere.
Common use cases
- Turning phone photos of receipts into one expense-report PDF.
- Combining scanned handwritten notes into a single document.
- Creating a PDF portfolio from design mockups or artwork.
- Converting screenshots into a shareable document.
Things to know
Each image becomes one full page at its original pixel dimensions — the tool doesn't do multi-image collages per page or add text captions. Very large images produce large PDFs; compress the result afterward if size matters.
Frequently asked questions
Which image formats are supported?
Anything your browser can decode: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, and more. If it opens in your browser, it converts.
Will my images be resized or cropped?
No. Each PDF page matches the original image dimensions exactly — nothing is stretched, shrunk, or cropped.
Can I mix formats, like JPG and PNG together?
Yes. Mix any supported formats in one batch; each becomes its own page.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.
